The functional efficiency and long useful life of this product depend on the correct choice of applied materials. Materials used for the collector production are supplied with the certificate and tests of their useful life match requirements for long-term and easygoing using of this product.
Applied materials pass demanding conditions both in the highest static temperature and during temperature changes. Components and materials of the collector are resistant to the UV radiation and to the mechanical loading during heating and cooling of the collector or his parts. They are also resistant to strain rising from external climatic effects such as rain, snow, hailstones, wind, high humidity and emissions corresponding with climatic conditions in the Czech Republic.
The tank of the collector is waterproof and prevents from rainwater infiltration. The collector is prevented from accumulation of condensed water by a special inlet, which provides air change (the inlet provides also the same pressure between the collector and surroundings).
The construction of the absorber with the special lock guarantees the lock of individual absorbing plates and that fact increases the heat transfer. The absorber is manufactured by means of special single-purpose machines and equipment.
The construction of meander (collecting pipes) and absorber guarantees not only excellent tightness and long useful life, but also the maximal space for the heat transfer into meander pipes
Pipes and connecting lines of the absorber are constructed for deaeration of the collector in the installed position. The construction is optimized based on the computing pressure, working overpressure and coefficient of the security including the influence of the highest temperature of the absorber (static temperature).
The absorbing part of the collector is resistant to high temperatures, humidity and condensation including the combination with sulphur dioxide.
The producer used the special solar hardened security glass, which is resistant to the UV radiation, emissions, high humidity, temperatures and condensation. The glass producer guarantees parameters proved by technologies, tests and confirmed by the certificate.
The isolation material is resistant to the height of static temperature (without signs of softening, sublimation or condensation inside the collector). The isolation material does not contain gas and toxic components (not during static temperatures) and components that injure human skin or eyes.
The amount of the recommended liquid depends on the number of collectors, distribution length and construction of the container. Recommendation is ca 1,5l for one collector Q7-3000-EKS.
